"I hope the T for Tibet campaign is very successful, that people everywhere will recognise the T sign as a show of support for Tibet. But Tibetans need more. We need western governments to stop accepting Chinese lies, to make China tell the truth. Tibetans are not lying. We were an independent nation when we were invaded by the Chinese army. Our culture is being annihilated. Western leaders must make the Chinese government talk to the Dalai Lama. They must help to secure the survival of the Tibetan people."
